Episode 47: This is an interview with Maud Easter, recorded on July 30, 2018. From the 1970s, Maud has been studying US-Korea policy, first as a staff ,member for the American Friends Service Committee and in the early 80s, Maud and her husband David Easter co-founded the Committee for a New Korea Policy. Currently, as a Women Against War activist, Maud provides community education and advocacy in support of a US diplomacy to establish a normalized, non-aggression relationship with North Korea and to support North-South cooperation and reduction of military tension, including establishing a nuclear-free peninsula.  Maud has traveled 8 times to South Korea and in 1980, visited North Korea as part of the first US non-sectarian organization delegation to visit North Korea. After the visit met with the Carter Administration State Department and did a 10 week nationwide speaking tour about US-North Korea relations.


Episode 48: This is an interview Terry Phelan, recorded on September 24, 2018 Terry Phelan is a local singer, song writer and peace activist. In this video, he discusses his activism and how he got started writing songs that promote peace and justice. He also sings several of the songs that he has written over the years. The video was produced by Bethlehem Neighbors for Peace.
