Thursday, June 4, 7:00 pm – 8:45 pm, Bethlehem Public Library, 451 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY. Are AI Data Centers Coming to the Capital Region Soon? Why are AI Data centers popping up all over the US? Do we need these AI Data Centers? What are the energy and water requirements and how will those demands effect our community? What can we do to stop the building of AI data centers in our community? We will have Oliver Holmes Jr. PE, talk about the current proposed plan for a data center in the City of Albany, on the border of the Town of Bethlehem now being referred to as “Kenwood Tech Center”. He will also give a brief talk about what AI Data Centers are, where there are being built, and give some of the reasons we don’t want them in our community. We hope to have a local community activist, from the Capital Region, working to prevent the approval of these projects, join us to talk about the local situation. A discussion will follow the presentation. Come join us for this informative forum. Infor
