Sunday, August 16, 3:00- 6:00 pm, Elm Avenue Park, 261 Elm Avenue, Pavilion B Delmar, NY, Send Off for Joe and Pippa!, Joe Lombardo and Pippa Bartolotti are moving out of Delmar and the Capital Region. We will miss them and we would like to give everyone a chance to thank them for all their activism over the years, and wish them well on their new adventure. Joe was a founding member of Bethlehem Neighbors for Peace and also a founding member of the United National Antiwar Coalition. They are both long time active members in many local, national and international peace and justice related organizations. Please bring a dish to share. Wine and beer are acceptable at the park, but no glass containers are allowed. Bring musical instruments, good stories, and lawn chairs. Join us in wishing Joe and Pippa well in their new home in York, PA !! For more information or to volunteer for set up or cleanup, call 466-1192 (Pavilion B shares the same parking lot with the playground. It is the back so go left past the pool, then right and keep going. When you see the playground, park and you will see 2 smaller pavilions. We are in B.)
